AVON WALK FOR BREAST CANCER
OCTOBER 7-8, 2006
This note is to inform our Kappa Eta Membership about one of our members
who is making a difference by walking in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer this year. Connie has been a member of Sigma Theta
Tau International for years. She tirelessly gives her time and efforts in many aspects of this Organization.
This invaluable challenge that she is taking along with thousands of other
people over in New York, is to benefit the victims of breast cancer. It seems all of us know someone who has been affected
by this dreadful disease. Anyway, she has made a goal to raise some $1800.00 for this cause (it looks like she has alreaady
reached her goal- check Web site).
To support Connie and the Breast Cancer Crusade, as the former President
of Kappa Eta, I am requesting that you check out the Avon walk web site and you'll see Connie's own web site there too.
If you can financially find it ok to send a donation, please do so.
You'll be supporting another nurse, a Kappa Eta member, and a friend
as well.
