Every two years, normally two Kappa Eta
members are selected to represent our Chapter at the Biennial Convention. These Delegates do not have to be Officers, but they
do have to be "active" members of Sigma Theta Tau International. From time to time, the Kappa Eta Board
may even select
to send a student to the Convention as well.
This year, / Chapter President and will act as
the Delegates from our Kappa Eta Chapter.
What are the benefits you may ask?
Well...
*It goes without saying,
that this is the most prestigious and honorable position that you will probably obtain in a lifetime.
*You will never
have a more valued opportunity to network with some 2000 Nurses in the world.
*Each opportunity provides another possibility
to make new friends and definately renew the old ones.
*You are able to meet some of the most unique and interesting individuals
in the Honor Society.
*As delegate, you have the opportunity to elect and shape the future of the Nursing Honor Society
throughout the world.
So,..... the next Biennial Convention is in Indianapolis, Indiana in November 2009.
The Kappa Eta Chapter is very proud to have our professional peers represent us.
Best wishes!
